Abstract

A one-step solvothermal method is demonstrated to synthesize layered Co 9 S 8 intercalated with Co cations. The as-prepared electrocatalyst exhibits outstanding performance for the hydrogen evolution reaction as well as remarkable long-term catalytic durability.
