Abstract

The finite-time consensus (FTC) protocol design for linear leader-following multi-agent systems (MASs) under DoS attacks is studied in this letter, where the communications network is jammed completely when attacks occur, and all agents are isolated in this scenario. First, a switched dynamical model is proposed to describe the DoS attack phenomenon in terms of attack frequency and duration parameters. Then a new resilient FTC protocol is developed for the concerned MASs. Moreover, the intuitive relationship between the attack parameters and feedback gain of the FTC protocol is established. Moreover, it is shown that the upper bound for the settling time of the consensus error can be adjusted by tuning several design parameters. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed FTC protocol, a simulation study is finally proposed.
