Abstract
A detailed analysis of the lattice thermal conductivity of ten Group IV–VI chalcogenides demonstrates that the κ latt is a balance of the phonon group velocities, the anharmonic interaction strengths, and the scattering “phase space”, all of which can be linked to the crystal structure.
