Connecting the Many-Body Chern Number to Luttinger’s Theorem through Středa’s Formula

Abstract
The many-body Chern number of a two-dimensional quantum anomalous Hall insulator can be decomposed as the sum of the Green-function-based invariant ${N}_{3}$ and a correction that vanishes whenever the system satisfies Luttinger's theorem.
