Abstract

. Therefore, unilateral loading with the simplified layer-by-layer preparation technique provided an effective method to balance the cytotoxicity and the antibacterial property of Ag-loaded materials and thus form a broader therapeutic window for Ag applications. The unilateral Ag-loaded silk fibroin difunctional membranes have the potential to be further preclinically explored as wound dressings.
