Abstract

This article explores the potential use of artificial intelligence (AI) in graphic design courses in higher education. Qualitative interviews were conducted to evaluate students' learning experiences of using six AI resources for graphic design: Limbiks, ChatGPT, Looka, Pagegenie, Khroma, and DALL-E. The results demonstrate that AI can enhance students' learning experiences in graphic design education. They also reveal a need to develop students' critical thinking skills when evaluating AI-generated information. The findings of this article constitute a basis for further discussion on how AI -driven resources can be used for learning purposes in higher education.
