“Creativia” Metaverse Platform for Exhibition Experience

Abstract
Web 3.0 has occasioned an increase in research interest in the metaverse. The research interest in metaverse gained attention during the pandemic with the increased use of online (virtual) platforms for day-to-day activities and work. Museums and exhibition centers were affected during the pandemic. Using online (virtual) platforms for museums and exhibitions became popular. The metaverse is a 3D immersive experience platform where users can leverage their custom avatar to explore. This work is an overview of a metaverse platform for exhibition experience named ‘creativia’, The work also demonstrated the performance of the creativia platform prototype for the exhibition. The case study involved the 5G Idea Factory Center of the Kumoh National Institute of Technology, Gumi, Korea.
