Cooperative quantum-optical planar arrays of atoms
Janne Ruostekoski
Abstract
Atoms confined in regular planar arrays have emerged as a quantum-optical many-body system where cooperative light-mediated interactions can be harnessed. These planar arrays act as quantum metasurfaces and offer promising opportunities for the manipulation and control of light.
