Abstract

. The key step in this reaction is the formation of a stable perfluoroalkylcopper intermediate that is achieved with the aid of a bipyridyl ligand. Subsequent reaction of the intermediate with perfluoroalkyl-containing alkyl or vinyl radicals affords the desired products.
