Asymmetric synthesis of atropisomeric compounds with C–N chiral axis

Abstract

<p indent="0mm">Compounds with C–N axial chirality have broad applications in the fields of asymmetric catalysis and drug development. The configuration of C–N chiral axis has significant impact on the function of these axially chiral compounds. Therefore, asymmetric synthesis of atropisomeric compounds with C–N chiral axis has received widespread attention. A series of asymmetric synthesis strategies have been developed to achieve asymmetric construction of different types of axis chiral molecules with C–N chiral axis. This review summarizes the recent progress in asymmetric synthesis of atropisomeric compounds with C–N chiral axis over the past decade.
