Abstract

A straightforward approach for the one-pot synthesis of fused bi(hetero)cyclic systems <italic>via</italic> cascade intramolecular rearrangement/cycloaddition reaction of nitrocyclopropane carboxylates with substituted alkynes/alkenes has been demonstrated.
