Modulation of OLED efficiency <i>via</i> a combination of aromatic electrophilic directing and intramolecular charge transfer

Abstract
A combination of electrophilic directing effect and intramolecular charge transfer state generates a small energy gap between excited singlet and triplet states in purely organic compounds. The strategy is promising for achieving efficient TADF-based OLEDs.
