Abstract

Ordered honeycomb-like mesoporous carbon nitride nanosheets with excess nitrogen (g-C<sub>3</sub>N<sub>4.5</sub>) were developed, which afford exclusive photocatalytic H<sub>2</sub> evolution from water.
