Abstract
Presented here are three new metal–organic frameworks based on two kinds of zinc tetrazolate nanotubes via mixed-ligand strategy. A slight difference between the angle of two carboxylate groups of ligands or the angle of the carboxylate group with a benzene ring can direct the formation of different nanotubes. Notably, due to the presence of rich active sites of uncoordinated N atoms and aromatic π-rings, compound 1 exhibits efficient iodine adsorption and cationic dye capture.
