Abstract

A blue-light excited red-emitting Mn<sup>2+</sup>-based hybrid halide (CH<sub>6</sub>N<sub>3</sub>)<sub>2</sub>MnCl<sub>4</sub> with a high PLQY of 55.9% was obtained. Using the halide, a high performance warm WLED was fabricated, indicating its potential as a red-emitting component for WLED applications.
