Abstract

Here we report the discovery of both a new high-temperature and an H-deficient polymorph of Li 2 B 10 H 10 . The H-deficient γ-Li 2 B 10 H 10− y exhibits fast Li-ion conductivity under ambient conditions, and may be relevant for all-solid-state Li-batteries.
