Abstract

The vast generation of data via Internet of Things (IoTs) technology has to be secured efficiently without compromising the quality of service (QoS). The presence of data generation devices like a small sensor, which is operating with inbuilt power device, makes a compromise between privacy and QoS. In this regard, the integration of IoT with cloud is essential to effectively handle the privacy of data. The homomorphic encryption scheme is described in this chapter that securely authenticates the data from IoT devices to the cloud. This algorithm acts as privacy-preserving outsourced storage and computation in cloud-IoT model. The simulation results confirm the privacy of data transmitted between the IoT devices and cloud than the existing methods.
