Abstract
As the manufacturing industry advances into the era of Industry 4.0, data security has emerged as a critical concern in the face of growing privacy protection challenges. This research paper explores data security challenges in the Industry 4.0 manufacturing industry and the associated privacy protection concerns. It highlights the risks of interconnected systems and data-driven processes while emphasizing the need for a comprehensive framework. The proposed framework encompasses technological, organizational, and regulatory measures to safeguard data at all stages.
