Abstract

Lithium difluoro(oxalate)borate (LiDFOB) is identified as a multifunctional electrolyte additive, stabilizing the electrolyte and protecting the electrodes, to enable the LiNi 0.5 Mn 1.5 O 4 //Li 4 Ti 5 O 12 battery with an excellent performance at 3.50 V.
