Abstract

Three novel three-component hybrid heterostructures with inorganic [Co<sup>III</sup>(CN)<sub>6</sub>]<sup>3−</sup> anions as electron donors and viologen tectons as electron acceptors exhibit combined properties of photochromism, photomodulated luminescence and anion sensing.
