Abstract
, with decreasing sorption capacity for all sorbents. Optimum conditions were applied to real wastewater samples collected from two Egyptian industrial plants. All sorbents had the ability to remove Cd(ii) from wastewater samples, and enhanced removal occurred when fungal cells were immobilized as compared to free cells.
