Abstract
The mutual influence of components in an aqueous system consisting of monoethanolamine and acetic acid was studied over a wide range of concentrations at temperatures ranging from –72.1 to 0°С. A solubility diagram was plotted. A new compound—monoethanolammonium acetate—was isolated; it was identified by chemical, X-ray powder diffraction, thermogravimetric, and X-ray structural analyses.
