Abstract

Hollow PtCu NPs is encapsulated into a carbon shell to prevent the degradation of PtCu alloys. Consequently, the S-H-Pt<sub>x</sub>Cu<sub>y</sub>@C catalyst exhibits excellent electrocatalytic activity and durability toward the methanol oxidation reaction (MOR).
