Abstract
An ultra-high QY, nearly 100% color purity and narrow-band blue-emitting phosphor of Sr[B<sub>8</sub>O<sub>11</sub>(OH)<sub>4</sub>]:Eu<sup>2+</sup> was synthesized by a medium-high temperature boric acid melting method based on self-reduction.
