Abstract
The paper deals with improving characteristics of airborne magnetometer in an algorithmic way due to proper initial alignment of the device. The possibility of ensuring maximum accuracy of determining the value and direction of the vector of the terrestrial magnetic field, and improving the sensitivity of the magnetometer for determining local fluctuations of the terrestrial magnetic field is considered. Appropriate calculations and graphical dependencies are represented.
