Abstract
The safe storing of sensitive data, particularly image data, is crucial in the current digital world. Image data may not be sufficiently protected from sophisticated cyber threats by using traditional encryption techniques. This research suggests an innovative method for cloud image data security that incorporates steganography into the cloud architecture. The art and science of discreetly hiding data within other data so as to avoid suspicion is known as steganography. Steganography is used in this suggested design to embed image data into cover files that appear innocent, making it harder for unauthorized users to find important information. The inclusion of steganography to the cloud storage system enhances its security beyond that of conventional encryption methods. This study presents a secure cloud architecture that consists of several interconnected parts that cooperate to protect the integrity and privacy of image data that is stored. These elements consist of a strong access control system, a secure key management system, and steganographic encoders and decoders. While the decoder retrieves the original image data when needed, the steganographic encoder is in charge of embedding image data into cover files. For steganographic procedures, the key management system makes sure that cryptographic keys are generated, distributed, and stored securely. In addition, the access control system controls authentication and user permissions, guarding against unwanted access to the image data that has been stored. Using role-based access control (RBAC), users are given particular roles and privileges according to their organizational responsibilities. Experiments evaluating the security and performance of the suggested architecture were carried out to confirm its efficacy. The findings show that steganography integration greatly improves cloud image data security, making it a strong option for businesses looking to safeguard sensitive data in their digital assets.
