Abstract
Abstract We report here a Cu‐catalyzed enantioselective intramolecular oxidation of cyclic diaryliodoniums. With readily available cyclic diaryliodoniums as building blocks, diversified axially chiral oxazole 2‐iodobiaryls were produced with excellent yield as well as excellent enantioselectivity. Furthermore, these chiral aryl iodides could be transformed into iodine (III) species in situ , which can be employed as chiral catalysts.
