Design of Intelligent Monitoring and Control System Based on Modbus

Abstract
This article explores the application of the Modbus protocol and how to use the two kinds of Modbus protocols to realize the double-layer monitoring network of a super multipower-saving equipment system based on Modbus/RTU and Modbus/TCP protocols. The article first explores the characteristics of Modbus/RTU and Modbus/TCP and their application scenarios, and then designs and implements a singlelayer network based on Modbus/RTU, which can realize the monitoring and control of a small number of node equipment groups. Subsequently, the second layer network based on Modbus/TCP was introduced, and its high transmission rate was used to realize the control of all node groups. The two-layer network can realize convenient control of a small number of node groups and simultaneous monitoring of ultra-multi-node equipment at the same time, which improves the monitoring and control efficiency of ultra-multi-node equipment scenarios. Applying the double-layer network intelligent monitoring system in factories, buildings and other scenes can make the monitoring and management of super-multi-device nodes more convenient.
