Abstract
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a pivotal technology with far-reaching potential to enhance various facets of human life, spanning industries such as healthcare, automotive, agriculture, and education. However, its heterogeneous data landscape necessitates a systematic examination of IoT security challenges. To ensure end-to-end secure data transmission, a paradigm shift in IoT application architecture is imperative. This study meticulously investigates the intricacies of IoT data transmission security, encompassing limitations, security requirements, encryption methods, key management, and secure protocols. Access control and authentication mechanisms are also scrutinized to fortify data integrity. The primary aim of this paper is to comprehensively explore and address critical facets of securing data transmission in the IoT, showcasing real-world applications, and underlining its paramount importance in this transformative technological landscape.
