Abstract
In the process of teaching-learning a foreign language, the pedagogical resources of reading literary texts and the theater constitutes one of the oldest and richest forms of humanity in entertainment and teaching. In the last decades there have been marked changes in the field of communication, science and technology, causing a digital revolution in all social spheres. Thus, this work aimed to address the relationship between the use of literary texts and theater in the teaching of English in the classroom. The methodology adopted in this work was based on bibliographic research.
