Abstract

For solving the problems such as high energy consumption of cooling system of big DC and utilization of abandoned wells, this paper proposed Libr/H2O absorption cooling system based on enhanced geothermal system (EGS) using abandoned wells for DC, which can realize the cascade utilization of geothermal energy, meet the cooling needs of the big DC. Firstly, a model of Libr/H2O absorption cooling system based on enhanced geothermal system using concentric circles wells for of DC was established and verified in this paper, then the influence of key parameters such as well depth, injection rate on the refrigeration system was analyzed. The results showed that the driven temperature of hot water from EGS can reach above 150 °C steadily for 20 years to meet the requirements of two-effect Libr/H2O refrigeration. The cooling capacity of this system can reach above 9 MkW with COP above 1.0 for providing cold water for DC, and cooling capacity increases with well depth and injection rate increasing while there is best injection rate with highest COP of system.
