Abstract
Chiral self-sorting in cage-like compounds is drawing increasing attention in recent years. It is of great importance in controlling the chirality of the formed cages and their chirality related properties. In this Highlight Review recent progress in this research field is summarized. The examples include both metallocages and organic cages. A summary on these progresses would be beneficial for getting a better perspective on the fundamental principles in chiral self-sorting and provide guidance for the design of novel chiral porous materials from cage-like compounds.
