Abstract

Power electronic equipment regulated by the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) organization must pass the relevant steady-state magnetic-field immunity test. To improve the design of the test system, the mathematical model of the multicoil square configuration system is established. The relationship between the dimension and the number of ampere-turns of the two-coil system and the three-coil system is studied. The design idea is extended to a system consisting of four or more coils. The factors affecting the magnetic-field uniformity of the three-coil system are studied by using the finite-element method (FEM). By comparing the simulation results with the measured values, the satisfactory test results can provide an excellent test system for the ITER static magnetic-field immunity test.
