Abstract
We appreciate the interest of Dr. Zhang and colleagues in our article The main difference between our study and that by Zhang et al. ( In contrast, Zhang et al. included specific variants that were experimentally confirmed only in cases, but not in controls, precluding a valid case-control comparison.
