Abstract

unexplained recurrent pregnancy loss. Insulin resistance is a condition in which cell receptors which are the target site for insulin action do not respond to the hormone insulin and resultant hyperinsulinemia. Insulin resistance is often associated with a hypercoagulable state (impaired fibrinolysis) and increased inflammatory cytokine levels. n view of this, we planned this study aiming to investigate the prevalence of IR and hyperinsulinemia in patients with RPL with unknown etiology.
