Abstract
While the study does a good job of highlighting the most important advantages of carbon-based supercapacitors, it would be beneficial to conduct a more in-depth analysis of their limits, such as the energy density of carbon-based supercapacitors in comparison to typical lithium-ion batteries. To have a more nuanced knowledge of the trade-offs that are involved in the process of incorporating these systems into electric vehicle architectures, a balanced perspective would be beneficial. A solid foundation for understanding the potential of this technology is provided by the carbon-based supercapacitors that are used in electric vehicles for regenerative braking systems. It opens how to prospective research and innovation in this area of energy storage by concentrating on their benefits while also admitting the difficulties that they face along the process.
