IoT based Smart Irrigation System for Precision Agriculture in Greenhouse Environment

Abstract
Water scarcity poses a significant challenge to global agriculture. This research presents a smart irrigation system that leverages IoT and cloud computing to optimize water usage and enhance crop yield. By integrating soil moisture, weather, and crop-specific data, the system develops precise irrigation schedules. Experimental results demonstrate the system's effectiveness in conserving water while maintaining or increasing crop productivity. This work contributes to the advancement of sensor-based agriculture and showcases the potential of IoT and cloud technologies in addressing complex agricultural challenges.
