Abstract
The “Circe effect” in supramolecular catalysis: the investment in entropy of CB[7] upon substrate binding accounts for the acceleration ( k included / k bulk up to 10 4 !) of the intramolecular Diels–Alder reaction of tertiary furfuryl amines.
