Abstract
Internet of Things (IoT) is the new development of Information Technology which connects the devices with Internet to make them smart. IoT has a variety of applications viz., smart healthcare, smart transport, smart agriculture, and smart city. Healthcare IoT facilitates correspondence between doctors and patients. The patients can be analysed remotely in critical situations with help of smart wearable devices. Healthcare records are very sensitive and any violation can cause unwanted severe consequences. Therefore, patients' data must be highly secured. Blockchain helps to maintain the high-level security in the healthcare IoT. Blockchain also provides immutability and confidentiality. This paper presents a brief survey on security in healthcare IoT with blockchain. We found that security can be enhanced in healthcare framework using blockchain.
