Selective electrochemical oxidation of tetrahydroquinolines to 3,4-dihydroquinolones

Abstract
A method was developed for the electrochemical oxidation of tetrahydroquinolines to 3,4-dihydroquinolones using O 2 as the oxygen source, TEMPO as the redox mediator, and NaI as not only the electrolyte but also the redox mediator.
