Abstract

RAFT dispersion polymerisation of methyl methacrylate is performed in scCO 2 with 2-(dodecylthiocarbonothioylthio)-2-methylpropionic acid (DDMAT) present as chain transfer agent (CTA) and surprisingly shows good control over PMMA molecular weight.
