Abstract
Mesoporous rod-like structured composites of NiO/Ni have been successfully prepared <italic>via</italic> a low temperature heat treatment of the precursor NiC<sub>2</sub>O<sub>4</sub>·2H<sub>2</sub>O in N<sub>2</sub>.
