Abstract
Vehicular Ad hoc Network (VANETs) plays a significant part in the field of smart communication which includes safety communication and traffic awareness. Due to the huge number of devices achieving maximum accuracy and security becomes a complicated task and it is under an open research area in vehicular communication. Overcome such a drawback in this article, an efficient lightweight trust model with traffic aware clustering and routing is developed in the internet based vehicular communication. The core modules of this process are network and attack model construction, cluster head selection with cluster formation, cluster dis election, cluster adoption, vehicles routing and efficient lightweight trust model. This proposed model is simulated in NS2 software and the parameters which are calculated for the performance findings are total trust value, anomaly detection ratio, computation cost and communication cost calculation. As compared with the existing methods this proposed model achieve maximum trust value which helps to maximize the performance of the vehicular communication.
