Abstract

MoS<sub>x</sub>–Fe nanoparticles dispersively, firmly anchored on a UiO-66-(OH)<sub>2</sub> support <italic>via</italic> phenol–Fe(<sc>iii</sc>) coordination exhibit superior electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution performance in an acidic electrolyte.
