Luminescence thermometry using sprayed films of metal complexes

Abstract
A “spray and measure” technology is provided that entails spraying a mixture of photoluminescent lanthanide (Eu 3+ and Tb 3+ ) complexes to form a film whose changes in luminescence contain information about the temperature of the substrate.
