Abstract

Pyrazolyl coumarin scaffold has been used for the selective detection of Zn 2+ and CN − and has been successfully applied for intracellular imaging of Zn 2+ and CN − in MDA-MB 231 cells. The probe isolates a unique emissive hexanuclear Zn-metallocryptand.
