Abstract
Li/CFx Batteries In article number 2303149, Yingke Zhou, Xiaohui Tian, Zhongzhi Yuan, and co-workers apply pentafluoropyridine (C5F5N) as an electrolyte additive to tune the characteristics of the solid-electrolyte interface (SEI) and cathode-electrolyte interface (CEI) for Li/CFx primary batteries. Benefiting from the tuned Li+ solvation structure and stable LiF/Li3N-rich CEI and SEI induced by C5F5N additive, superior discharge capacity, rate capability and storage performance are achieved.
