Abstract
A low concentration 3-aminobenzene sulfonic acid additive is introduced into the ZnSO 4 electrolyte for aqueous zinc batteries. It regulates the interface environment on the Zn electrode, and the lifespan of the symmetric Zn cell extends to over 1100 h.
