Abstract

This article presents a composite laminated shell element based on the Absolute Nodal Coordinate Formulation (ANCF) for modeling the rigid-flexible-thermal coupled dynamics of a solar panel system. The model analyzes thermal induced vibrations under the combined effects of attitude motion, elastic deformation, and thermal environment. A unified description of temperature and displacement fields is achieved, and thermal strain forces are derived. The heat conduction equation is discretized using FEM, and the dynamic equations are solved. Numerical results show that the model accurately simulates the effects of deformation, attitude motion, and temperature on thermal vibrations.
