Abstract

Methods for formal bromo-trifluoromethoxylation and bromo-pentafluorosulfanoxylation of [1.1.0]bicyclobutanes using AgOCF 3 or AgOSF 5 and 1,3-dibromo-5,5-dimethylhydantoin are disclosed.
